1. Biashara Kwa Wote 006-is an economic empowerment partnership we signed with the office of the County First Lady-Taita Taveta. The objective is to enable CBO’s and Self Help Groups of women, the youth and persons with disabilities (PWDs) in the county establish limited companies through which they can will be able to access affirmative business opportunities from the National and County government under the AGPO program. The metrics are to establish one company for the youth, one for the PWDs and one for women in each of the 92 sub locations in the County making a total of 276 CBO’s becoming beneficiaries of the program. We welcome any willing partner to support the CBOs meet the cost of company registration.
2. Tsavorite Marketing and Auction Centre Limited( TMAC) is a joint Venture between ourselves and the Taita Taveta Artisanal Miners Association. TMAC is the marketing arm of the association designed to enable artisanal miners activate the benefits of the new mining act 2016 and access buyers of raw gemstones directly thus improving their income significantly. TMAC has opened discussions to establish partnerships with local financial institutions, the Gemcentre in Voi, The County Government of Taita Taveta, The Taita Taveta University all this in an effort to ensure artisanal mining is adopted as a mainstay self employment opportunity by the residents of Taita Taveta County.
3. Red and White Meating Place Limited is a venture established to support market access by Kenyan Companies and Medium, Small and Micro Enterprises in the meat value chain. The initiative has been made possible in partnership with an Ecommerce technology partner.
